My son received this watch for his 8th birthday last September. He has worn it every single day since receiving it and it still works great. He only takes it off for showers and swimming and then he puts it right back on. The only problem is that he is growing so much, the wristband of the watch is now getting a bit tight on his wrist.
He uses the alarm function to wake himself up for school and he constantly uses the timer to time his running and to time how many minutes he has read for school. Will be getting him a new watch for his 9th birthday as this one is now finally looking a bit worn---but it was well worth the $18 for all the use he's gotten out of it.
