While I have not had a proper chance to put the Mr365r through it's paces in an outdoor and extended use situation, I can speak to a couple things:
1) Battery standby life. I fully charged the device when I got it, and it has sat in standby in my bag for several weeks and is still at 3/4 bars. Pretty impressive.
2) Sturdiness. Although the radio is very very lightweight, it definitely feel sturdy in your hand. The faceplate doesn't flex, all the tabs and buttons have a good click to them, and none of the parts feel flimsy.
3) Surprising Features. During a recent power outage due to a rather nasty thunderstorm, I used the weather radio feature. Works like a charm, definitely not the reason I bought the radio, but very useful indeed.
I did do some basic tests as to volume and clarity of the communication provided, and I was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to understand my brother on the other end, not that much of the usual crackle and sharpness found in 2-way radios of this kind. I can definitely recommend this radio. I need more time with it on a trip of some kind to really put it through it's paces, but I feel confident it will live up to my expectations.
