Owner Reviews, Ratings, Comments and Criticism The price kind of scared me off until I actually held one in my hand. I thought it was probably just an over-priced garden hand trowel. It isn't. It's very well made and feels comfortable and well balanced in the hand. I use mine to fix water leaks. Once we've uncovered a leak with a backhoe and shovels, we use this tool to clean up around the broken area to make a repair. It gets right in to the tough spots and disturbs just as little ground support as possible. It's strong enough to dig in clay and rock. The first time we used it there were a few comments from the crew about the tool and what it cost. But it worked flawlessly and didn't get broken or all bent out of shape as other small hand tools do. Now it's one of those "go to" tools when preparing to make repairs. After using it on two jobs, one of the other guys decided to get one for his tool box just to make sure we always have one on the job. And it's made in the USA, if that matters.
