I'm just a beginner, so I can't tell you how they handle high speed, but they do have a nice, smooth ride for my pace. They squeak a little bit, but that may be normal. I don't know much about skates. They're pretty comfortable, too. I bought mine a size up, and I have a little space. I wish they sold half sizes. As for the style, it looks very nice, not cheap at all. I don't even like green, and I think they look amazing.
