My two sons received the skates from their cousins after they had grown out of them. My older son loved them so much he didn't care how cramped his toes were. I wasn't sure if he would stick with it, but since he puts them on every day I decided I better buy him the correct size. Very comfortable and the kids really notice a difference in the way the wheels roll--very smooth and easy to glide on. Spend the money if they want to skate, they will love them.
