This is my first "big girl" inline skate purchase. If you are new to blading you may not want to spend over $100 for a sports item you may never use. However, I am here to tell you it's worth it. I had nearly given up on inline skating as an entry level sport for me b/c my first pair of cheaper skates were heavy as hell and hurt my feet terribly, even though they were supposedly the right size and width for my foot. After lots of research, I took a chance on the K2 Andra skates and I LOVE THEM. They are the lightest ones I've found for the price. Amazon also had the lowest price (as usual). It is such a pleasure to be able to skate 5 miles on a sunny day and not have aching feet at the end of it. Of course everything else hurt because I still haven't figured out how to stop properly, but that's my fault. Smooth ride, pretty fast so be careful if you're a newbie like me, great on bumpy asphalt or smoother surfaces. I spent today skating over sticks and pinecones and they did just fine. Enjoy!
