Stearns Sospenders inflatable lifejackets are lightweight and comfortable, allowing freedom of movement while providing maximum buoyancy. Great for sailing, fishing, paddling, boating, or hunting, this Stearns Sospenders automatic life jacket inflates automatically when it's submerged in water -- or you can manually inflate by simply pulling the attached lanyard or using the oral inflation tube. The 33-gram CO2 cylinder provides quick, reliable inflation. Inflated, the life jacket provides 22.5 lbs. of buoyancy. It's universally sized to fit adult chest sizes 30"-52". This personal flotation device is Coast Guard approved. Uses rearming kit 0950 for repeated use. Inflatable PFDs are not recommended for non-swimmers; not for use for active watersports activities (skiing, tubing, wakeboarding, white water, or PWC).

This life vest will not turn a user face up in all cases and offers only minimal positive flotation...22-25 lbs. The vest fits chests from 30 to 50 inches which is quite a range. I'm 6 ft 200 lbs and find the vest rides too high and is generally uncomfortable. The quality of the product appears cheap which is not good when your life may depend on it.
It feels very similar to an inexpensive airline life vest. For $120+ I would suggest buying a good type 1 vest for much less money or spending extra money for a higher quality vest such as those made by Mustang.
