Great boat. Built really tuff. I have never seen an inflatable boat Built out of so tough of a material. I drug it over rocks for a week and had to repair the floor in a small spot but nothing in the tubes. As for the 4 person rating I think the same people that decide how many people can sleep in a tent chose that. Perfect for 2 people and gear. 3 would fit. I got the minn kota 30 thrust with it went 5 miles full out on one deep cycle.
