I'm not super familiar with hydration packs, so I don't have anything else to compare it to, but I like it. It has both chest and waist straps, which I like, and the tubing can be attached to either side. It also has zippered compartments for storing things, like your keys or cell phone. The pack itself is comfortable to wear, it sure beats carrying a water bottle in your hand when you're out hiking. Just make sure the hose is securely attached to the bag, the first time I used it it leaked all over my back, I thought it was defective, but no, the hose was just loose.
Update: I love this hydration pack! I use it every time I go orienteering. The 2 zippered pockets aren't large, but it's a hydration pack, not a backpack - I'm don't need it to carry anything except water, my keys and my phone. After 2 years and much abuse it is holding up great, the only exception is the right elastic loop (which I favor) that holds the nozzle has become frayed, but that is just normal wear and tear. Like I mentioned previously, the chest and waist straps make the pack super comfortable. For storage, I toss the hydration bag and hose in the freezer and that has worked out great. I haven't owned any other packs, but I feel you would be hard pressed to find a better one for the price.
