This is an inexpensive and lightweight day pack. I am able to stuff my CamelBak 90332 6L Water Beast Reservoir, Black into the main section of this pack providing enough water for hiking in the hot Sonoran Desert as its dimensions are a perfect match. Unfortunately, it rides a bit lower than the bigger and more expensive packs from Camelbak (CAMELBAK MULE 500 61086 ARMY UNIVER HYDRATION BACKPACK and Camelbak M.U.L.E. 100 oz Hydration Pack cost well over $100), Solomon (Salomon Raid Revo 15 Hydration Pack costs $41), or Nathan (X-treme Hydration Pack costs $64), but it is lighter than all of these. The pack's hydration section is perfect for an athletic gel pack to keep me cool (or a frozen recovery drink for the end of the trail) and the additional compartments are great for my Gu Energy Gel, Chocolate Outrage, 24-Count, suntan lotion, and first aid kit.
