I have to admit I really like this pack. I was looking for a waist/fanny type pack but with a shoulder strap(s). I have back problems but wanted to hike. Whenever I use a standard backpack my back aches after a short time. I knew I had to transfer the majority of the weight to my hips/waist. I was always told that you get what you pay for and was reluctant to purchase this pack because it was only $29.00. I figured I had to get an ergonomic/lumbar-ish pack with a high price in order to be more comfortable. I WAS WRONG! This pack is one of the most comfortable packs I have ever used. I hiked 8 miles today and was never once in pain because of the pack. It carried very well. It easily has enough room for a 2 or 3 day trip. I packed it full for this first trip just to see what it would do. I am impressed to say the least. It was a little thinner than I expected when I ordered it, but I think this worked in my favor as it kept most of the weight tight against my back and on my waist. Another waist pack I had was so thick that a lot of the weight was bouncing around 10" or 12" inches behind you. This pack didn't do that at all. There were a few things I think could have been improved on, such as it needs more webbing tabs in order to attach additional gear or pouches, and I think they could have added heavier duty plastic clips on the front of the bag, but they functioned well and took the load I had on it. I rated this at 4 stars only because there could have been a few more pockets, webbing tabs, bells and whistles. But I am sure you could modify it to suit those needs. If you are one of those that has to have the best, most expensive, name brand gear then this isn't for you. But for the average person that hunts and hikes in the woods you will not find a better pack at this price.
