Owner Reviews, Ratings, Comments and Criticism I recently purchased this item and all the advertised features features seem to work. Unfortunately there are a few issues.1) The biggest problem I have is that the unit is highly susceptible to bumps or knocks. once it sustains a knock it looses all settings and you have to program it all over again. It therefore needs to be more rugged if the manufacturers want this to be used by hunters and fishermen.2) The weather prediction feature is not very precise(the manual claims 70% accuracy for pressure based forecasts but my experience with this device suggests it may be lower). I suppose the accuracy could be better if the device relied on more than just barometer readings. Better stick to your weatherman's forecasts.3) When programming the unit you have to put in the "Lunitidal Interval". My situation did not match the sample data in the instruction documents- so I had to work it out for myself using the tedious method suggested in the manual. It would have been easier if there were some support website where I could program in my latitude and longitude and it just supplied me with information needed to program the unit.4) It would be nice if the unit had a built in compass.Update: here I am a few months later to say that the device has totally malfunctioned and I have lowered my rating to 1 star.
