I bought this pack for my wife as a present. When it arrived there were loose threads hanging out all over it. i am not being picky here literally it was almost like fringe. It was as though the person making the bag didn't take the time to clean up the threads. I sat down and clipped off all of the loose threads. Didn't want to do that but didn't want to send it back. My wife loaded the pack with a relatively light load. Approximately 8 - 10 pounds. The sternum, strap immediately malfunctioned and would not reopen. I may have simply gotten a bad one. It happens. But I don't think I will ever consider another one from this company unless I can see it hanging on a rack and examine it first.
