I'm a certified Personal Trainer and Spin Cycling Instructor as well as a 4x Guinness World Record Holder in various ultra endurance events. I highly recommend the FT40 because it provides total calories AND percent calories from fat, which is very helpful in weight loss training program design. It also provides total duration of workout and time spent in one's "Fat Burning" Zone (50-65% of MHR) and "Fitness Zone" (65-80% of MHR). Also provides V02 testing. The watch is very user friendly and a favorite of my clients. Price point is also good. No Stopwatch Watches feature, but thats why they made stopwatches :) I prefer the FT40 over the companion and higher priced FT60.
