I just started golfing with a $15 set of clubs from a flea market that are pretty much all covered in dried dirt (no towel and no rinse water at the range). This thing cleared out my groves and brushed off a decent bit of dirt and mud without any real hassle. The wire brush within the plastic brush is a nice feature (default). It does a good job of cleaning up the heads without having to use too much force.
I found the retractable pointed grove cleaner to be particularly useful. I got out mud and dried dirt with relative ease. The ability of this thing to retract back into the handle is a huge perk. But this ability may also be its downfall. One thing I noticed is that there is a lot of wiggle room (imo) that the pick has. When scratching out a rather hard spot that required some extra effort, I found myself choking up so as to not create a bend point at the swivel. I think that it is entirely possible for the pick to break off if you're really pushing hard on the caked on mud. I haven't had this happen, but it is worth noting.
As of now, the Frogger brush is working just as described with no trouble, but it may be only a matter of time until I drop this to 3 stars if the pick breaks off. I will also note that the retractable line is quite helpful. It has a nice firm retract force; which may cause another problem if you have an upright bag (could knock it over while you're cleaning it).
