I purchased for my son. He's on the line. He complains about those side hits. He says this was an excellent purchase. It absorbs some of those hits. He says he wished I have purchased this a long time ago. It's well worth the price. It's true to size in men's size. It washes well. I'm sure he will tell all his teammates to purchase this one.
