Lightweight and compact, the Fenix E05 R2 portable, high-intensity flood beam flashlight is an ideal choice for everyday tasks.

The portable E05 flashlight is small enough to fit comfortably in the palm of your hand. |
The E05 measures a mere 0.56 inches in diameter and 2.53 inches long--small enough to fit in your pocket, handbag, and just about anywhere else. The Cree XP-E bulb and mini lens, meanwhile, produce a bright and gentle flood light that's especially suitable for reading, looking for articles, or illuminating a path at close range. Plus, the bulb's digitally regulated beam maintains a constant brightness during your activity, so you won't have to deal with a dimming beam while you wander.
The flashlight is well built, with a durable aircraft-grade aluminum body coated with a premium Type III hard-anodized, anti-abrasive finish. The construction helps the light hold up to all kinds of abuse. Other features include an output of 27 lumens, a runtime of almost three hours using a single AAA battery, a reliable revolving switch, and a rhombic knurled design that makes the light easy to grip. The E05, which also stands on a flat surface to serve as a candle, carries a limited lifetime warranty.

Owner Reviews, Ratings, Comments and Criticism
I bought this light to replace a Mag lite Solitaire. The Fenix E05 is substantially brighter, and slightly smaller. It is only slightly bigger than the AAA battery it runs off of. It is able to light up small rooms rather impressively. It also has a much whiter light, which I prefer. My one minor gripe is that it is perfectly round, which means it can roll, but since this will be attached to a key chain I don't really care. I have not yet tested the battery life. Before purchasing this light I compared it to the Fenix E01 (about 13 dollars) and the LD01R2 (about 40 dollars) I paid 20 dollars for the E05. All three run on a single AAA batteries, and are increasingly bright 10(E01) 28(E05) 80(LD01R2) lumens respectively. Their battery life also reflects the brightness(the brighter they are the lower battery life they have). I think for 20 dollars this is the ideal balance of brightness and runtime. Even if they were the same price, I am not sure I would go with the LD01R2.
Hope this helps!
