I have had this product for a week and I will give it five stars so far. I will write an update if anything changes with the operation and/or mechanics of the unit, but as of now I am quite happy with it. I had done some research about J Fit's mini ellipticals and came across a comment that there seemed to be some missing screws. The black screws weren't missing but were already attached to the "arms" so I had to remove the screws and then use them to install the foot pads. All of the other small parts were in the plastic bag with the instruction booklet. The unit was easy to put together by myself, so the company's suggestion that it's easier if two people work on the assembly was unnecessary. I assembled it alone in less than 10 minutes with no trouble. It took me a while to get used to the odd movement since I am very out of shape and had never been on an elliptical machine before, but even though I'm a klutz I soon overcame the balance problems. During the first time on the elliptical I was out of breath after about 100 rotations so this machine will help me build up my endurance. Anyone who already is in good shape wouldn't get much out of this machine, but for the rest of us it will be very useful.
