I decided to try some generic-branded elliptical hoping to save some money. It's not a bad buy, but you have to be careful with the instructions. The manual was written for a different version of the elliptical and some of the steps you have to revise due to parts being different in the model shipped vs. the model in the manual. The biggest key thing to watch out for is that the bolts for the pedal arms are threaded for left-only, right-only. You can't screw the left bolt in the right pedal arm and vice versa. It's a bit squeaky when built, but otherwise it hasn't fallen apart on me so far. It works decent and I will continue to use it until it falls apart but I don't think I would buy it again.
