Turn exercise time into play time with the ProForm iSeries 800 elliptical trainer. The iSeries 800 is equipped with ProForm's GameFit technology, which includes two interactive video games designed to liven up your exercise routine.

The trainer's console includes 2 interactive games: Fat Blocker and Calorie Destroyer. |
The harder you work when playing Fat Blocker or Calorie Destroyer, the easier the games become. There's no better incentive to stay fit. As an alternative, you can use the 12 personal trainer workouts to shake up your fitness regimen. Each personal trainer workout automatically adjusts the resistance level to help you achieve aerobic, weight-loss, or performance goals. And to make your workout as efficient as possible, the iSeries 800 includes built-in handlebar sensors. The sensors monitor your heart rate so you'll always know whether you're in the proper training zone for your body type and goals.
Other features include an easy-to-read ClearView display with a large viewing angle; a console that tracks your time, speed, distance, resistance, pulse, RPM, and calories burned; a generous 18-inch stride length; on-the-spot Quick Resistance buttons; and a 275-pound capacity. The iSeries 800 trainer carries a lifetime warranty on the frame, a 10-year warranty on the brake, and a one-year warranty on parts and labor.

Fortunately, ProForm wasn't satisfied with treadmills, unveiling a complete line of exercise bikes, elliptical machines, weight benches, and more--all geared to providing the most effective workout available.
Owner Reviews, Ratings, Comments and Criticism
Because buying an elliptical is a relatively big investment for me, I did a lot of research before deciding on this particular trainer. Plenty of reviews online suggested this was a decent elliptical for the money, so I decided on this over my other top choice, the Horizon Fitness EX-59 Elliptical Trainer, and I'm very disappointed that I did.
I am 5'8" and the supposedly '18"' stride somehow is much shorter than the equal '18"' stride of the Horizon EX59 (a friend of mine has the EX59 so I've been able to try it out). When I'm on the ProForm iSeries 800 the movement is really jerky and unnatural because the stride length is much too short for someone my height, and this is the main reason I highly regret making this purchase.
An additional problem was that one of the wheels keeping the legs on the track was missing the c-clip required to secure the wheel in place on the track. The machine was unusable until we found the right size c-clip at a hardware store.
I gave this 2 stars simply because for a much shorter person (5'4" and under), this might be a useful elliptical trainer, but for me, it is simply a horrible match.
