Shape up your leg muscles by changing your workout stride with the ProForm Stride Select 600 elliptical trainer. The Stride Select is equipped with a pair of innovative adjustable pedals. Whether you prefer a long, fluid stride or a short, compact stride, the Stride Select 600 is up to the job. To further improve your routine, the trainer comes with 20 personal trainer workouts and two heart rate workouts. Each personal trainer workout automatically adjusts the resistance level to help you achieve aerobic, weight-loss, or performance goals, while the heart rate workouts help you stay in the right training zone by increasing or decreasing the resistance accordingly.

The trainer's base and pedals fold up for easy storage. |
The Stride Select 600 is also iFit compatible, so users who prefer to train on a schedule can stay motivated. Available in weight loss and wellness categories, the iFit cards (sold separately) plug into your elliptical's console to help you lose weight, feel great, and improve performance in just eight weeks. Each card--which is designed by a certified personal trainer--automatically adjusts the resistance while the voice of a personal trainer takes you through the workout.
To top it off, the trainer includes a SpaceSaver design for easy storage. In a single step, you can fold the trainer's base and pedals and save nearly 3 feet of floor space. Also equipped with an MP3-compatible music port, the StrideSelect will whip you into shape in no time. The trainer supports up to 275 pounds.

Picked up one of these and within 4 weeks the belt started slipping off the wheel from time to time. They promised a replacement part and told me it was OK to keep using it. A week later the bolt for the right pedal just snapped, rendering it useless until repaired. I called and they promised yet another replacement part. SIX WEEKS after the first break I still hadn't received any parts so I just purchased a replacement of a different brand. When I went to move the unit by tilting it up on the wheels for that purpose, the frame snapped! So the unit is 12 weeks old, seen 4 weeks of use and has broken 3 times! They offered to replace it but I already did that. I can't even find it in me to curse a friend by giving them this clunker. I told them to just keep the replacement. Stay Away!
On the positive side I loved the iFit feature when the machine was working. If you can find a decent machine that has this feature, check it out. Nordictrack also has iFit BTW. Still, iFit's pretty useless if the machine itself doesn't work so one star.
