Owner Reviews, Ratings, Comments and Criticism I have tried all types of foam ear plugs, but have never found one that stayed in place all night or the expanding pressure was undetectable or kept out enough noise. In desperation, I tried the Radians Custom Molded Earplugs. It took me about 20 minutes with the easy to follow instructions to custom make my earplugs. (I watched a how to video first). I inserted them that night and slept through the night for the first time in years. After a few minutes they warm up with the body heat and totally seal the ear. Since they fit the contour of the ear and are flat with the ear they stay in place and you cannot feel them when you lay on the your side head with your ear against the pillow. You must take care to release the trapped air in the ear canal when inserting them and I may explore drilling a tiny hole in them to allow the pressure in the ear to releave.
