The rack makes it easy to switch weights during a workout. It's compact, so I'm not tripping over it, and you can stash it in a corner or closet so it's not the centerpiece of the room. The rubber keeps the weights from clanging or rusting. You do have to be careful not to pinch your fingers when placing the weights back in the rack. That said, I love them!
