Overall this is a great product that keeps the snow from balling up between my dog's toes (web feet on the dog can collect snow and cause frost bite). After a few walks here are a few impressions/tips: 1. Double strap keeps the shoes in place. Despite the pup's best efforts, the shoes stayed put. 2. The inside of the shoe is padded and seems comfortable. 3. Dog does a weird high step and tried to take the shoes off. I threw a ball in the backyard and the shoes were quickly forgotten. 4. The shoe doesn't grip well on smooth surfaces. There will be a bit of slipping and sliding across the kitchen floor and icy spots on the sidewalk. But with a little practice my dog did pretty well. 5. The hold up exceptionally well in the snow. Not sure about keeping dry, but at least the snow isn't balled up between the toes.
