When the peripheral PIR sensors are activated, they wake the camera so that when the central PIR sensor is activated the flash fires and the camera records the image. It took pictures continuously every 15 seconds regardless of the settings. VERY BAD FOR SOMETHING THAT HAS ONLY BEEN OUT OF THE BOX FOR 2 HRS.It is not even going to make it into the woods, because I am going to return it and demand a refund, then go buy a reliable trail cam.I should have looked at the reviews that people have written about this companies products. I am not the first one to have a camera be junk straight out of the box. One person bought one that was messed up, then got a replacement one that didn't work right, then they gave him a third one that worked. BTW, None of my 425 pictures had anything moving in them. I made sure that nothing was tripping the sensor, by aiming it at the living-room wall, and I still got pictures.
