The W6XAC has an extremely fast trigger speed with a PIR sensor range of 50 feet to capture images of animals at a distance. It may just be my ignorance but I can't get this camera to show anything in darkness. I get just black screen. Even the day pictures are B/W. I might can understand the IR being black and white but I don't understand the black screen at night. Will some one please help me with this. I will have to return it if it's no better than my first impression. I'm using rechargable batteries but that shouldn't cause a problem.
Update:
After two nights of nothing but some dim eyeballs from about five feet away, I have elected to return this item. Maybe with some ambient light around it may do better but the IR just doesn't do the job in my opinion.
