I bought this camera as an extra carry along camera for when I didn't want to use my higher priced digital camera due to rain, etc. I wanted one to just toss in the console of my truck and not worry about getting it scratched and such. For the price, I wasn't expecting outstanding pictures and this camera is adequate. It does need a louder "beep" when the shutter button is pressed, sometimes I don't know that a picture was taken or not until I look. Other than that I have no problems with it and would recommend it as a camera to use for quick snapshots where high resolution isn't needed. Think of it as one of the 'disposable' film cameras you can get in stores.
