The Dove call is easy to use. For morning or afternoon hunts, the call can be used to entice doves closer for that perfect show. To recreate sounds of the different species of doves, vary the rhythm according to the species of dove you are trying to call.

I have never used a dove call before and bought this one because it was cheaper than others and I only wanted to see if I could get doves to come to my backyard (I'm an armature bird watcher). I live in a suburban neighborhood in a housing track. I called on this thing 3 times and a few moments later a dove came flying out of nowhere and landed on my fence. Soon there were three doves. My dog scared them away and after about 20 minutes and calling off and on two doves landed in a large tree next door. Interestingly, the call sounds higher-pitched than a real dove and that concerned me at first. But I guess it sounded fine to the doves.
