I needed sunglasses that would keep grass, bugs, broken glass, the sun, and perhaps a tree or small motorist out of my eyes.
At first, they seemed as if they would be really small and not fit. Ends up, they fit nicely on my face. They are secure and stand up to sweat and speed and the potential careening off my planned path onto the terra-very-firma.
I did notice - which might be a fluke with the lenses - things seem sharper when I look through the top part of the lens, which happens when you drop your head while riding. This is pretty nice when biking.
Keep in mind, these are plastic, not metal. However, they have rubber coating that goes over the side of the head and ears. No worries about those sweaty areas.
