I was very disappointed when these arrived, and would have given them a 3 or even a 2. They just didn't slide at all at first, and after much elbow grease I could get 3 of the 4 to slide with effort. I didn't want the hassle of returning and exchanging, so I e-mailed the Rome company hoping to get advice on how to make them work more smoothly. Michael e-mailed back very promptly, and offered to replace them with no charge. The replacements arrived today, and live up to the excellent reviews. They slide open easily, and will be perfect for campfire use. I'm not sure what the problem was, perhaps a quality control issue with the factory that produces them. However, 5 stars for a company that stands behind their product and provides outstanding customer service. Thanks, Michael!
