Finding bowling shoes in a typical size 10 is becoming something of an impossibility. No sporting goods stores in the greater Pittsburgh area had ANY in stock. None. Not even online (Dick's sporting goods and Dunham's sporting goods). In fact, the stores couldn't even order me a pair. Go into either of these sporting goods store and try to find a section for anything related bowling. Go ahead, try it. You won't find bubkis. No balls, shirts, towels, wrist braces, or bags. Just the shoe "selection" that has nothing between a men's size 7 1/2 through 14. What the hell is that? However, Amazon.com was able to find me a pair of shoes in my size that didn't look like I was wearing chocolate bars on my feet. These shoes are the right size, comfortable, provide just enough "slidage" (is that even a word?) on the lanes, and look like sneakers. And they're Dexter's, too. Price was good, and think about that. If you rent shoes every week for a season (34 weeks at $2/week), you're spending $68 in rental fees. These shoes were $38, and I had an online coupon code for free shipping, so I'm $30 ahead before the season even starts. Whoo hoo!
