The Halex Platinum bocce set makes a great companion whether you're camping, barbecuing at a friend's house, or picnicking with family. The set starts with four red and four green 113mm clear resin balls, all with a unique clear/solid mix effect. Halex also added a 60mm jack (pallino) target ball and a canvas carrying bag. To play, simply toss the pallino any distance or direction, then take turns trying to toss, roll, or throw the bocce balls as close as possible to the target. One of the oldest forms of lawn bowling, bocce can be played almost anywhere on a variety of surfaces, and is suitable for all ages. I have used many bocce sets and have been playing for years. I have never had a set break before, even after smashing hard and repeatedly on rocks. I purchased this set because I wanted a set that stood out from others and looked nicer. I will never do that again. On the very 1st time that I used this set, a ball broke in half. I was playing on a grass field, and the ball hit a small rocks on the field. Broke right in half in 3 pieces.
