At first look was surprized they came in a nice polypro bag with a built in belt loop and a lens cleaner in bag. first appearance of binoculars, nice rubber eye cups, 1/2 rubber handles and rubber over end of the lens. The body is a cheap silver plastic of moderate quality. The center wheel has little in the way of adjustment, at wide range eye cups and wheel frame are very wobby and could break very easily. (cheap plastic frame for eye cups). Eye cups become more stable upon tightening in the view by way of the center wheel. The view is a blueish tint with no glare, with an orange tint to the outer lenses. Also based on price no L/R diopter adjustments. There is also a string neckstrap, and these are also very light weight. Also no range numbers, just boast better than the natural eye, bad descrition- as magnifying glasses at a gas station can do that as well. The best possible use for these in my opinion is for a child or maybe for an emergency/survival kit. Not a large field of view as compaired to my 8x30 old heavy weight binoculars handed down to me. This is a very basic set. At $5.99 a great value, but add $4.95 shipping and I would suggest using the around $11 to purchase a different pair based on your usage. Unit does have a very stylish design, just needs some improving of quality and could get an even better price.
Pros: light weight
pleasing visual design
compact- 4 3/4 x 4 3/4"
nice storage case
coated blue lenses
Cons: small range of focus
cheap plastic housing- (eye cups frame)
no maginfication or objective lens measurments (field of view)
rubber extending from eye cups flimsy
