I ordered this TPX WARRIOR bat for my 7 year old son who plays coach pitch. He was swinging the Nike Watches AERO bat 28 in.\15.5 oz. The Nike Watches was really light weight and useful training him to make consistent contact,but it lacked "POP". Since, our league banned 2 3/4 in. barrels, I purchased the newly released WARRIOR(30in\17 oz.) and I could not believe the difference in his hitting. My sons swing is the same, but his hits are now much harder than with the NIKE. Even his weak ground balls are fast and hard to handle. The coaches have complimented his hitting and I believe that it is attributed to this bat. I highly recommend this bat. It is also very inexpensive compared to some of the other brands......Dont fall for the hype of the other brands. A seven year old kid doesnt need a 200.00 bat....the WARRIOR will do just fine.
