My niece loves this bag ever since I got it for her PE class at school. It's spacious enough to hold her clothes and a some books. Reading these reviews, in honesty and I don't know how some of these reviewers look at these things... It's not designed for lugging 5+ textbooks. No bag short of a camping pack can handle the 40+ lbs of books some kids carry these days. In fact I have yet to meet a bag that's 'kid proof' if you know what I mean. These things are designed to be used and replaced. I remember spending $50-60 on Jansports years ago on my kids only to have their suede leather bottoms rip at the seams by Christmas. Guess what I buy them now? Yep for $12 a pop.
