I have tried many different types of posture braces. Elastic, wrap around, full back coverage and so on. This product surpasses each by leaps and bounds.
The most comfortable aspect of this particular brace is the padded shoulders. Unlike other brands and types, I do not get red marks on my underarms. Further, the way that the shoulder straps fit does not impede leaning forward to pick something up, nor reaching forward (like we do for typing). Another very important advantage of this piece is that it does not have (or need) an elastic band around your entire torso.
Additionally, this product is adjustable in many ways. I am over 250 pounds, so I was hesitant about the fit. The extra large brace borders on being too large for me. The straps are very long and hang almost to my hips, but are easy to trim, which doesn't affect the brace in any way. There is substantial room; in fact, I suspect that a medium brace would fit me. Another way that this brace adjusts well is that you can increase the degree of correction very slowly. If you have tried other braces in the past, you know that pain is likely at the beginning of your journey. With this brace, you can start slowly and increase the support gradually to let your body adapt.
