This machine is an incredible value for the money. The X-arcade cabinet is over 2000 dollars. This one is only 399 (plus 199 for the X Arcade tank stick). The package arrived on the first day of the delivery window, so the shipping was very fast. The packaging was excellent--each piece is wrapped in a large amount of plastic and then wrapped in bubble wrap. The quality of the materials is excellent. The way the monitor attaches to the unit is really cool. It is a very sturdy and solid machine. I have already played Galaga, Donkey Kong, Track and Field, Asteroids, and Ms Pac Man. I played these same games prior to getting the cabinet, and it just wasn't the same. Now playing these games truly has that old school arcade feel. I will say that it took me a lot longer than a half hour to put this thing together. It took me almost half an hour just to unpack and take the plastic and bubble wrap off the pieces and sort everything out. The instructions are not that great. One of the pieces did not have the holes drilled in it (the keyboard cover), but they sent me an email to warn me about that, and that they already sent out the replacement piece. I thought that was very responsible. However, the email said that I can build the machine without it and then add the part later on when it arrives. I am not 100% sure, but I think I am going to have to take apart the entire cabinet to add this part; I don't think there is any way to install it after the fact without laying the machine on its side, removing all of the bolts from one side, and unpegging that side so I can slide in the new piece. I might not install it. I wish the email would have said to wait to build the machine until the part arrived. Anyway, despite it taking me about 3 hours to put this thing together, I really have to say this was a great purchase and it is a great cabinet. And a really great price in my opinion.
