It was very comfortable but didn't keep me from twisting my weak ankle again. This brace is great. It gives great support and allows me to walk at a normal pace again. My only complaint is that it's a little bulky so I can only wear it with clogs, but I suppose that's the price I pay to avoid repeat ankle injury. I would definitely recommend it.
