This tree stand is not the fanciest out there, but it's one of the cheapest TMA approved ones. It also comes with a full body harness (not the most practical harness but it's still nice). It is a bit heavy but not abnormally heavy for a stand made of steel. If you like lighter stands, consider an aluminum one. To me, the main flaw of this stand is where the holes to attach the cables are located: they are on the side of the lower and upper sections' arms. Basically, you have to bend over to see where the cable loop is inside the arm. This will not make it easy to attach the stand to the tree early morning when it's still dark and the green light attached to my hat is the only light I have. It is still a good stand though, and it comes with many accessories which is nice.
